I just moeved to Clearwater from NY. I needed help getting my Road king out of my van. Made a call to your service dept and i was told to bring it on down. Coming from Spring Hill I pass a number of dealerships but I work not too far away form Jim's. Of all the Harley Dealerships I have stopped at along the way Jim's is by far the friendliest dealership I have had he pleasure of visiting. Each department I have passed through I am always greeted by someone willing to assist if there was anything I needed or any questions I wanted answered.

Because of this atmosphere when I found the Road King I was looking for, I ended up purchasing the bike from Josephine who had to of been one of the most pleasant sales folks I had ever done business with! I was so impressed with the courtesy and respect the dealership demonstrated to me as a customer I became an M.V.P. member. (Why would I shop some where else?)

Josephine was so helpful the first time around, it was only suitable when I was looking to give up the sportbike for "The 48" I closed the deal with Josephine, and again it was a consistent performance and a pleasure.

Jim's isn't just a dealership, it's a family! You tell me when the last time was you met the owner of an establishment while on the floor? Everyone is very accessible and this is why I choose Jim's. Now I do wish they were closer; but what better way to spend 120 miles on the bike!

hey ! just got back from a great road trip down the coast and I must compliment the wonderful job service did on my ultra classic ! fred, tree and all the guys in service did a great job getting the bike set up for the trip. the screaming eagle super tuner, the rinehart racing exaust system and the dyno tune done by jrk and tree made my hog run great ! I have had the bike in for several services and tree has always been patient with my questions and had great ideas to make our dresser stand out and safe.the time spent on the dyno unleashed all the power and smoothness we needed. I shopped a lot of the local dealerships and other brands but came back to Jim's Harley Davidson because, of all the places I went, they gave me the best experience. They seem to really "get it" that success is based on relationships. Everyone in all areas, clothing, accessories, parts, and sales, was helpful in guiding me to what is right for me and for my riding to be safe and fun for years to come.

I have to say of all the Harley Dealerships I have stopped at on my motorcycle trips Jim's is by far the friendliest dealership I have had he pleasure of visiting. Each department we browsed through we were greeted by different employees. I ended up purchasing the Road Zeppelin seat for my Road Glide, they even shipped my old seat back home for me...no charge. Even before I bought it the parts person installed the seat on a Road Glide Custom so I could see if I liked it before purchasing it. I even became a M.V.P. member. I really enjoyed chatting with the parts person about the rides the dealership sponsors. Cant wait to stop by and chat with the friendly folks at Jim's Harley on my next trip to Tampa.

We are from Canada, I connected with Jim's over 3 years ago, joined the MVP club at the advice of the rental staff at Jim's and we have never looked back. . Even though I don't live in Florida. My wife and I travel and vacation each spring for a month in Treasure Island. We love to ride and each spring with the help of Jim's and the great staff we rent a Harley or should I say several rentals usually different models and share our first ride of the season with the Management and Staff at Jim's whom we must say are 1st rate. We subscribe to the their newsletter. We can't believe the amount of events they sponsor and promote. We just wish we were able to be here year round to enjoy and take part in more events. The staff and Management at Jim's Harley-Davidson is and always have been first rate in our experience, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I look forward to the day when we can spend more time in Florida and extend our one month vacation too hopefully 3-4 months and enjoy the extending riding season and rest assured Jim's will play a big part in our adventures. I recently bought a large quantity of parts for my 09 Fat Bob. I've been dealing with Ken in the Parts department. The entire experience can be summed up in one word : Fantastic. I drove over from the east side of Tampa for service on my bike, based on the recommendation of a friend. I ended up buying a 2011 Ultra Limited from Josephine, on the phone, without ever seeing the bike or meeting Josephine(until later). I really am impressed with the pricing (parts and service), the good selection of motorclothes and accessories, and most of all, the customer oriented service! It shows! I am now a Jim's customer...woohoo!

JIM'S HARLEY DAVIDSON IS THE NO. ONE DEALERSHIP, I BELIEVE AFTER VISITING THREE OTHER DEALERSHIPS IN THE GREATER TAMPA BAY AREA (THE OTHERS WERE GOOD, BUT JIM'S STOOD OUT). I HAD EXPERIENCES WITH AARON HUSTON, SALES EXEC FOR THE MOTORCYCLES AND CONNIE WHO ALSO PROVIDED ACCESSORIES INFO, TYRONE WHO GAVE EXCELLENT FEEDBACK WHEN I HAD TO SELECT A HELMET. ON 09/14/2010 I called and spoke with Mindy in Motor Cloths trying to find a IVY Skull cap that I had tried on at a dealership somewhere in my travels around the country, she didn't have one in stock, but she was able to give me a part# and the names of the dealers that showed inventory on the item (there were only 4 in the country) I GOT MY HAT :) :), Thank You Mindy. I have been away from St Petersburg for just over a year and yet to find a dealer/Harley family that even come close to Jim’s. I knew Jim’s was unique but never realized how friendly, relaxed, and friendship-oriented it was until I was away. In western Massachusetts there is Aldo’s and South Hampton Harley. One is old and small and never a hello when you go in, the other is flashy-Vegas like and sales people are all over you! My boyfriend Thom recently purchased his first Harley after a lifetime of riding every other bike under the sun. He is hooked for sure! I tried to explain to him how different my hometown dealer was and he just did not understand until we visited about 2 weeks ago. He was floored to see Jamie just chatting in the service dept and how everyone I saw remember my name after being gone a year. How we just walked in and we were taken care of like family and don’t live there anymore. He loved the atmosphere in the store and service dept – that people acted treated us like friends not customers. I had talked about our HOG group and LOH group and how involved we are and how you both really support and partner with so organizations! I miss Jim’s so very much, I miss LOH and wrapping presents and shopping after hours with MVP. We have no community here. Amazing roads to ride and places to see but no cohesive groups to ride with or volunteer with. St Pete is very lucky to have such a great Harley Home – I miss the personal service, the events to participate in, the great shopping, being able to rent bikes and rider education – I have none of that up here! Sigh… mostly I miss the staff, I rode out to the beach just to see Jess but I got to see her in St Pete by chance! Please let everyone know how much I miss them, that they are the best team I have met! No other dealer feels like home like Jim’s does! Hope to see you soon!

"Jim's Staff: I credit your Skilled Riders Course for saving my life and the life of my longtime girlfriend. I purchased a 2009 Heritage Softail Classic from Jim's in November 2008 and took the Skilled Riders Course on January 17, 2009. The Course leader was a young African American, I believe his name was Charles and an older gentlemen, Bob. One of the skills we practiced was hitting an obstacle in the road by going straight over it without braking and some throttle just before impact, we used a 2 X 4 for this practice. On March 8th 2009 we were returning from Daytona Bike Week on the Harley and after a great ride through Ocala National Forest we got on I 75 just West of Leesburg, FL. We had not been on I 75 for more than a few minutes when we noticed a truck with an open trailer pulled off on the side of the road in a position to come back on which started to slow everyone, just a bit and bunch the heavy traffic up. We were still moving at 70 mph. In the blink of an eye, the two cars ahead of me swerved violently to their left exposing a full size box springs from a mattress set directly in my path. With a split second decision, I went straight through and over the box springs. The reason we knew it was a box springs is because of the loud noises as parts were breaking as we went over it. Surprisingly, my Heritage stayed very straight and stable. Had I not taken the Skilled Riders Course I may have attempted to brake or swerve, obviously, I followed the correct course of action. An interesting sideline to this story is the fact that when I stopped to inspect my Harley for damage, there was not a scratch other than my Guardian Bell had been ripped away. We had just received the Guardian Bell the week before from a good friend. Our first phone call was to this friend to thank him and to advise him we would appreciate him getting another one for us. We love our Harley, one of the best decisions I have ever made. Please pass this message onto your instructors. Scott Davis"

"My husband has owned a Fatboy for quite a few years and has always came to Jim's for service, parts and any other accessories. The entire staff has always give us excellent service each and every time we visit the dealership. Earlier this year, Jim's announced a Ladie's Garage Party to be held in August. With my husband's advice, I agreed to attend just to learn more about motorcycling. Make note, I have never driven any type of motorcyle whatsoever, always been on the back. At the Garage Party, I learned so much about bikes from parts and service to selecting the proper bike. I was beginning to feel the urge. I ended up being the lucky one and actually won the Rider's Edge Course, so I signed up for the all women's class held in October. The weeks leading up to the course, I was excited, scared and very intimidated. Within the first few hours of the course, I knew I wanted to learn more. On the actual riding days, I learned so much and felt like I was an experienced driver. The instructors, John and Charles, were absolutely amazing. I had so much fun and left there with the knowledge of a true motorcycle driver. Days after passing the course, I began to drive my husband's Fatboy. It was like I have been driving for years. Now I am searching for a bike of my own, preferrably a Fatboy so I can join my husband as a driver and not always looking at the back of his head. To make a long story short, Jim's Harley and the Rider's Edge instructors have brought out a desire that I never knew I had or even dreamed of having. I now understand the true feeling of riding in the wind. Jim's entire staff are remarkable people and I enjoy coming into to the dealership even to just say helo."
