All our technicians are Master-Techs certified by Harley-Davidson. Wouldn't you want your bike being worked on by the best?

A 5k Service entails the following:
• Inspect and service air cleaner.
• Adjust steering head bearings.
• Check operation of electrical equipment and switches.
• Check, adjust and lubricate throttle, brake and clutch controls.
• Check front brake fluid level and condition.
• Inspect fuel lines and fittings.
• Check battery and clean connections.
• Check rear brake fluid level and condition.
• Check clutch adjustment.
• Replace primary chaincase lubricant.
• Inspect exhaust system for leaks, cracks and loose or missing fasteners or exhaust shields.
• Inspect rear brake pads and discs for wear and brake line for leaks, contact or abrasions.
• Check rear tire pressure and inspect tread.
• Inspect and adjust drive belt.
• Inspect wheel sprocket.
• Inspect spark plugs and replace if needed.
• Replace transmission lubricant.
• Inspect oil lines for leaks, contact or abrasion.
• Replace engine oil and filter.
• Inspect and lubricate jiffy stand.
• Check front tire pressure and inspect tread.
• Check wheel spoke torque.
• Adjust springer rocker bearings.
• Inspect front brake pads and sics for wear and brake line for leaks, contact or abrasions.

Jim’s H-D Additional Services:
• Check for current recalls, service bulletins and warranty.
• Lubricate axels.
• Charging system check.
• Check headlight and passing lamp adjustment.
• Steering head fall away.
• Lubricate clutch and brake leverl pins.
• Lubricate clutch and throttle cables.
• Road test and bike wash.

Our Master-Techs have
OVER 50 YEARS
combined experience!

The Master Technician Level recognizes technicians who have developed advanced skills in all areas of diagnostics, service and repair of H-D® motorcycles.

This level of mastery recognizes:

• Technicians must be currently employed and have completed a minimum of 60 months of work in the service department of an authorized H-D® dealer.
• Technicians must have completed the PHD indealership programs.
• Technicians must have current Master status.
• Technicians must have completed the appropriate Factory Training.
• Technicians must have dealer support.

Master Technicians must complete all level 4 recognitions (Master Chassis, Master Electrical, Master Powertrain, and Master Technology) before they may enroll in this recognition.

Jim's Harley-Davidson utilizes the most up-to-date technologies in our Service Department including the use of Digital Technicians.

Jim's Harley-Davidson has the least expensive labor rate around. Don't take our word for it, ask your local dealer. Because of these tentative times, Jim's has no intention of raising it's labor rate.
